Nepal U19 “A” cricket team will be taking part in the U19 Challenger Trophy, organized by BCCI (Board for Cricket Control in India) at Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium) and Vijayawada (ground to be decided) from Nov 11th – 17th, 2019. The matches in the tournament will be played with List-A status.
Nepal U19 “A” will be competing against team’s of India Red, India Yellow and India Blue. All team’s will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format. The top 2 team’s at the end of the group stage will compete in the final, while the remaining 2 team’s will play in the 3rd/4th play-off match.
Nepal U19 took part in a 4-team quadrangular series organised by BCCI in 2018 as well, in which Afghanistan U19 also took part, prior to the team’s taking part in the 2018 ACC (Asian Cricket Council) U19 Asia Cup in Bangladesh.
