Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) will be hosting the Men’s National A team of Afghanistan for a three (3)-match T20/T20I series from November 08th – 11th, 2025 at the West End Park International stadium in Doha. Back in 2022, both Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and QCA made an agreement for Afghanistan National and Development teams to use the facilities in Qatar for training camps and matches, and Afghanistan team played practice games with Qatar team, before playing ODI series with Netherlands in the now defunct ICC ODI Super League in February 2022. This series will be followed by two (2) T20 International matches (with ICC team ranking points) between the Qatar and Hong Kong, China Men’s teams.
QCA are all set to host the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 event in November, where Afghanistan A team will be defending their Title against fellow A teams of other Full member teams in the Asian region, along with Oman, UAE and Hong Kong-China. The ACC event will start after the conclusion of the Qatar-Afghanistan T20I series.
