The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the schedule for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia from 15th January to 06th February 2026. Sixteen (16) teams will compete across 41 matches, culminating in the final at the Harare Sports Club on 06th February.
The tournament format features four (4) groups of four (4) teams each, followed by a Super Six stage, leading into the semi-finals and the title clash in Harare. Ten (10) teams earned automatic qualification based on their performance in the 2024 edition, joining hosts Zimbabwe. The remaining five (5) teams clinched their places through regional qualification events, reflecting the expanding global footprint of the U19 pathway.
The sixteen (16) teams will be divided into four (4) groups with three (3) teams from each group advancing to the Super six stage. The fourth-placed teams in each will move to a placement match, with the fourth-placed teams in Group A and D facing each other while the fourth-placed teams in Group B and C take each other on.
The top three (3) teams from Group A and D will progress to one Super Six group while top three teams from Group B and C will be combined in another Super Six group. The points, wins and net run-rate earned against the other progressing Super Six teams will be carried forward. The teams will then play two matches in the Super Six stage against opponents from the other group that finished in a different group stage position.
