USA Cricket have announced their 14-member squad for the upcoming round 5 of ICC CWC League 2 Championship in Nepal from Feb 05th – 12th, 2020. USA are currently at the top of the points table in CWC League 2 Championship with 6 wins from their 8 completed matches.
USA national squad concluded their recent campaign in the CWC League 2 Championship in UAE in Nov 2019, where they played the host’s and Scotland. USA last met Nepal in a 50-overs fixture in 2017, during Nepal’s WCL Championship tour of UAE and USA were playing matches in the country prior to their scheduled tour of Oman in Dec 2017.
USA will travel to Mumbai, India on Jan 24th to play three 50-overs matches against Mumbai Cricket Association XI squad at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana ground in Kandivali to prepare themselves for their tour of Nepal. Nepal are yet to make their appearance in the League 2 Championship, while the other 6 nations have already played 2 rounds each in the Championship so far.
The squad remains unchanged from their previous League 2 assignment in UAE, where they won 3 of their 4 games.
