Cricket Canada Women’s National team will embark on their maiden overseas tour outside of the ICC Americas region in October 2025, as they are set to tour both Uganda and Tanzania for T20 International bi-lateral series (with ICC team ranking points). The team will tour Uganda from October 18th – 27th, 2025 for their series comprising of five (5) T20I matches, followed by tour of Tanzania for a similar five (5)-match series from October 27th – November 05th, 2025.
Uganda and Tanzania Women would only be the 4th and 5th team in International Cricket, against whom Canada Women would be playing in these two (2) bi-lateral series. Our players have been working hard at the domestic level, and this is their chance to showcase that talent internationally. It’s also an inspiration to young girls across the country, who are watching and dreaming of wearing the maple leaf one day.”
For Uganda and Tanzania Women, this series will provide competitive game-time at home, before they both travel to Thailand in November 2025 for the ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy.
