Cricket Netherlands (KNCB) have adopted for a new format for the TopKlasse One-day competition for the season of 2025, that begins 27th April. There will not be any play-offs stage unlike the previous year’s editions and minimum two (2) clubs will be relegated directly, while the club finishing at number 8 in the points table, will play a promotion-relegation match against the Champion club of the Hoofdklasse division. The set-up is being implemented to make it an eight (8) club competition from the 2026 season.
The T20 leg of the season will begin from August 10th and will conclude on September 06th, 2025. With the National team having qualified for the T20 World Cup next year, and also with an upcoming tour of Bangladesh for a T20I series in August, the players will get the opportunity to play for their clubs and get prepared for upcoming International assignments.
