Two Major League Cricket squads are joined by a USA Cricket Training Group XI for a triangular series of 50 Overs Matches starting on 22nd April 2021 in Houston at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Texas. The 14 players representing USA are part of the 28 players, that were announced earlier to form the Men’s Training Group in Houston.
The matches will see two teams of Major League Cricket squad members separated into the MLC Gold XI and the MLC Silver XI play out a triangular series of one-day matches (50-overs format) over six days against a USA Cricket Training Group XI. All the matches will begin at 10am local time.
The players selected in both USA and Major League squads were recently in action at the same venue during the just concluded Houston Open T20 tournament. All the matches in the one-day series will be closely monitored by USA head coach J ArunKumar, as USA have a busy schedule coming up, that includes CWC League 2 tournaments and ICC T20 World Cup Americas regional qualifiers.
