Tanzania Women to prepare for regional qualifiers via National Women’s T20 tournament

Tanzania Cricket Association (TCA) have announced that the National Women T20 Championships will be held from June 18th – 27th, 2021 at the Usagara ground in Tanga region.

Four combined teams represented by Dar Women combine, Morogoro Women combine, Tanga Women combine and Arusha Women combine will be competing in the T20 tournament, which will provide national team members and hopefuls the opportunity to impress the coaching staff and the selectors ahead of the African regional qualifiers for Women’s T20 World Cup set for September 2021 in Botswana.

The players selected to represent the Morogoro and Tanga regions were the top performers during their regional Women T20 tournaments in May 2021.
