Guernsey Cricket Board (GCB) have entered into a 2-year sponsorship deal with Darwin Escapes, a Holiday Resort and Golf Club operator based in the UK.
The Sponsorship deal will see Guernsey Men’s and U19 squads receive playing, training, and leisure
wear kits, all including the Darwin Escapes name. The senior squad are currently scheduled to play a 50-overs game as part of 2021 Inter-Insular series against their Channel Islands neighbours, Jersey on 11th September 2021.
Mark Latter, Guernsey Cricket CEO, said in the official press release “It was great to show off the new kit in person finally. It also enabled us to say thank you for the amazing support Darwin Escapes are showing in Guernsey Cricket.
Whilst the name will appear on the Guernsey Men and Under 19 playing and training kit, the
funding will support growth in local cricket across the pathway. We have an exciting future ahead of
us and we look forward to sharing the good news of our progress with all at Darwin over the next
couple of years.”
