Free State to host Namibia in final preparation T20 series before World Cup

Free State, the first-class cricket team representing the province of Free State in South Africa, will be hosting the Men’s national squad for a 5-match T20 series from September 04th – 10th at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontaine.

The series will be Namibia Men’s first series this year outside their country, after having hosted and winning series against teams from Uganda, South Africa Emerging, Zimbabwe Emerging and Titans franchise from South Africa from April – August/September period. Namibia Men’s squad will be travelling to UAE after the conclusion of this tour to compete in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup from 17th October.

The Knights squad is coached by Allan Donald, who will be very familiar with the Namibian squad, having been part of a fast bowling camp held in the month of May 2021 at Windhoek with the national squad members and also the U19 players.
