With the prospect of taking part in the next edition of CWC Challenge League qualifier looming for Spain Men’s National team, the Cricket Board has decided to organize 50-over series between two (2) inter-squad teams, namely Team Corey and Team Alastair for the Juan Carlos Rodriguez Trophy, with three (3) matches to be played on April 25th, 26th and 27th, 2025 at the La Manga cricket club ground.
To be able to compete in the CWC Challenge League qualifier (date TBA) towards 2031 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup qualification pathway, Spain Men need to be among the top four (4) ranked team in the T20I team rankings outside of the current CWC Challenge League participating countries. Spain Men’s National team will also tour Denmark from May 29th – June 01st, 2025 for a three (3) match series in the 50-overs format.
