Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) will be hosting Men’s national squads from Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania in the 4-nation ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa regional finals from November 15th – 21st, 2021 at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium and IPRC Kigali ground. Kenya and Nigeria had already qualified for this event by virtue of their appearance in the previous T20 World Cup Global qualifiers held in 2019, while Uganda and Tanzania have claimed their spots from the two Africa sub-regional qualifiers held in Rwanda over the past 3 weeks.
The four teams in the competition will play each other in a double round-robin group stage format to determine the winner of the tournament, who will advance towards 2022 Global qualifiers. Thirteen (13) of the sixteen (16) countries are already confirmed for the Global qualifiers, with the remaining two (2) other spots to be decided in the currently ongoing ICC Americas Regional finals in Antigua.
