Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) have announced that the men’s national squad will be touring South Africa from April 24th – May 02nd, 2022 to play a bi-lateral series comprising of matches in both 50-overs and T20 formats with the Limpopo Impalas Cricket Club in Polokwane. Following the conclusion of the tour, BCA will have four (4) identified and selected players remain in South Africa for player placements from May 3rd to July 3rd, 2022.

Botswana Men’s Squad: Karabo Motlhanka (Captain), Reginald Nehonde, Hemal Pragji, Valentine Mbazo, Rod Mbaiwa, Thatayaone Tshose, Phemelo Silas, Dhruv Maisuria, Mmoloki Mooketsi, Katlo Piet, Boteng Maphosa, Boemo Kgosiemang, Boemo Khumalo and Losika Magkale
At the conclusion of the tour, Valentine Mbazo, Phemelo Silas, Katlo Piet and Boteng Maphosa will remain in Polokwane, for a two (2) month Placement Program. Botswana men’s team will be taking part in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa regional qualifiers towards the end of this year, which is expected to take place in South Africa.
