USA Cricket will be hosting the 2nd annual Women’s National Championships from August 01st – 03rd, 2022 at the Moosa Cricket Stadium in Pearland, which will see squads from Eastern and the Western Conference play a series of matches, that will become the selection pathway for the Women’s team to be selected for the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global qualifier in UAE in September 2022.
The 2022 season will get underway with the Intra-regional series, which will see twelve (12) teams take part from June 16th – July 16th, 2022, which will be followed by the Women’s Regionals from July 25th – 28th, at the MLC National Cricket Center at the Prairie View Cricket Complex (PVCC) in Texas. Selected players from the Southeast Region (Atlanta, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill) will play against the Northeast Region (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and DC), while the Western Region (LA, Bay Area, and Seattle) will play against the Southwest Region (Houston and Dallas) in the regional tournament.
The Sistar Mortgage Women’s Under 19 National Championships will be taking place in the month of October 2022, and will be the pathway program towards choosing the U19 Women’s squad for the inaugural edition of ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023 in South Africa.
