Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) will be hosting the Girls U19 Regional T20 Championship event from 26th – 28th August, 2022 at the KNUST Obuasi Campus Cricket Oval.
The four regional teams in the competition will be from Ashanti, Eastern (2 teams) and Central (Select). On the first day of the event, Ashanti Region team will play against Easten Region 2 team, while Eastern Region 1 team will go up against the Central Region Select team in the T20 format. The second day of the competiton will have the 3rd/4th play-off game between the teams ending on the losing side on the opening day, followed by the game between the winning teams from the opening day matches. Ghana Cricket will then announce the High-performance squad for the selected U19 players for potential matches/tournaments in 2022 or beyond.
