Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have announced that the Men’s team from Bangladesh will visit UAE for a short trip in September 2022 for a 2-match T20I series from 25th – 27th at the Dubai International stadium. This will be the first meeting in a long time between the two countries in the T20I format, with their only meeting so far coming during the 2016 Men’s Asia Cup in Mirpur, Bangladesh.
The series is part of preparations for both the camps ahead of the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia, where they will compete in the first round (UAE will try to claim one of the two spots on offer from their group) and Super12 stages respectively.
