Panama Cricket are goint to organize the second (2nd) edition of Cricket Carnival Panama tournament from Febraury 07th – 11th at Jarmen Field, where the 2023 domestic season matches are also taking place. Much like last year, Panama Cricket will be fielding two (2) teams and will be competing against the National squad of Colombia, A Trinidad and Tobago representative select squad and another club side, Saville Stars CC.
The event will be part of preparations for the Panama Men’s National squad members, who will be travelling to Argentina after this to take part in the Americas sub-regional qualifiers towards 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The inaugural edition of the event was held in March 2022, where both the teams representing Panama Cricket played a double round-robin group stage competition with an “All Stars” select squad from Trinidad and Tobago.
