Japan Cricket Association (JCA) have announced that the third (3rd) edition of Women’s Japan Premier League (WJPL) will be taking place from May 27th – June 01st, 2025 at the Sano International Cricket Ground, and will be contested by three (3) teams this year, with Titans Cricket from South Africa fielding their team for the first time in the tournament, as part of their ongoing partnership with Japan Cricket Board. National capped and domestic players of Japan will get the opportunity to play a high-profile tournament at home alongside overseas/professional players from Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, England and South Korea.
Japan Women’s team will be hosting the Sano City Women’s multi-nation tournament in June 2025, and the Women’s Premier League before that will be ideal for preparations for the National squad members.
