Cricket Romania to host 6-nation Continental Cup in June 2025

More T20I action is coming our way from Europe, as Cricket Romania will be hosting the 2025 Continental Cup from June 26th – 29th, 2025 at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Bucharest. Romania will host men’s teams from Malta, France, Hungary, Austria and Belgium in the 6-nation event, which will be the ninth (9th) edition of the event overall. The Hungarian team are the Defending Champions from the previous edition held last year in May 2024, with a win over Gibraltar in the Final.

The teams have been split into two groups, with the top two (2) teams in each group progressing to the semi-finals, after the conclusion of the single round-robin group stage format. Host’s Romania are placed in Group A alongside Austria and Hungary, while France, Belgium and Malta are together in Group B of the competition.
