St. George’s Cricket Club will host the Annual Cricket Cup Match (2-day match) on July 31st and August 01st, 2025 against their rivals, Somerset Cricket Club. One of Bermuda’s biggest annual event of the year, the Cup match is of historic importance to the culture of sport in Bermuda. The Cup Match Venue alternates annually between Somerset Cricket Club in Sandy’s Parish and St. George’s Cricket Club, Wellington Slip Road, St. George’s. Somerset are the current holders of the Trophy after winning the 2024 edition.
HSBC Bermuda, once again are on board as sponsors for the event, and will run their Motorcade and Branch activities like last year. Both Somerset and St. George’s President XI squads will have their final Trial games against their respective Vice-President’s XI squads on 26th July, before the final squads were announced for the Cup Match.
