Asian Cricket Council (ACC) will be hosting the Men’s Asia Cup tournament in United Arab Emirates (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) from September 09th – 28th, 2025. The tournament will feature Nationals teams of India (Defending Champions), Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong-China competing for the Title. UAE, Oman and Hong Kong-China secured their places for the ACC Emerging Nations Cup 2025 through the ACC Men’s Premier Cup tournament held in April 2024 in Oman, and while the Winner of the Premier Cup was originally scheduled to compete in the Asia Cup, the runners-up (Oman) and 3rd placed team (Hong Kong-China) have also been added now into the mix.
The tournament will be crucial for both Oman and UAE, who will compete in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia – East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Qualifier in Oman in October 2025 for three (3) qualification spots into the main event in India and Sri Lanka next year.
