Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) will be hosting the Men’s National team of Lesotho for a five (5)-match T20 International series (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from March 09th – 15th, 2026 at the BCA oval in Gaborone. This will be the maiden bi-lateral series arrangement made between the two (2) cricket boards, with the teams having met only once in T20Is, during the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier in Rwanda in November 2022.
Both the teams will be in action during the Sub-regional qualifiers towards the 2028 edition of the T20 World Cup, and this series will begin their preparations towards it. Botswana Cricket are scheduled to host the Sub-regional qualifier in May/June 2026, while Lesotho Men will be in action in Sub-regional qualifier in Nigeria in October 2026.
