Cricket Kenya have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup from Jan 2018 in New Zealand.
The U-19 World Cup, which is held every two years, will see 16 teams battle for the title. Kenya are in Group ‘A’ alongside hosts New Zealand, defending champions West Indies and South Africa.
Head coach Jimmy Kamanade said “I’m very excited as a coach to take this group to New Zealand. They are massively talented with the potential for even greater things. I’m confident we have picked a combination that will give us the desired results.”
Kenya U-19 will travel to Sydney en-route to Christchurch in New Zealand. The team will play 2 friendly matches against BBQ franchise, Sydney Thunder before embarking on their World Cup journey.
