Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) have announced the training squad which will prepare for the World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe in Mar 2018. The training squad members will undergo an indoor training program @VOC in Rotterdam and in Haarlem between 5th Jan – 7 Feb.
Dutch youngsters, Bas de Leede, Asad Zulfiqar and Musa Nadeem will be going to Gary Kirsten Academy in Cape Town as part of the preparation from Jan 9th to train for the next seven weeks. Netherlands team will leave for a training camp in South Africa at the TUKS Academy in Johannesburg in Feb 2018, after which it will travel to Zimbabwe on 23th Feb for the qualifying tournament.
Netherlands are set to join West Indies, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea and 2 qualifiers from ICC WCL Division 2 in the 10-team Qualifiers to compete for 2 spots in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
