A First-Class Game highlights MCC’s maiden Legacy tour of Nepal

Nepal players in whites, playing an official 3-day First-Class match at Tribhuvan University ground in Kirtipur will be forever etched in the memories of their fans, as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Legacy Tour brought back the format to the country, in which Nepal last played a game a whopping 14-years ago.

MCC’s first of the three part Legacy Tour also included 50-over games against Nepal’s senior national men’s squad and U19 squad at TU ground, which will host it’s maiden ODI matches come Feb 2020 in the ICC CWC League 2 Championship. This series thus was a crucial one for Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to showcase their hosting prowess to ICC to perhaps get more hosting opportunities in the coming future.

MCC play their final two games of the tour at Pokhara Rangasala Cricket Ground against Pokhara Invitational XI and Chief Minister’s XI on 11th & 12th Nov 2019, in the T20 format of the game.
