Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will be hosting the Women’s National teams of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong, China for the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s Asia Cup 2026 tournament from August 28th – September 13th, 2026, in Dubai. This will be the tenth (10th) edition of the Women’s Asia Cup overall, with Sri Lanka Women being the Defending Champions from the previous edition held in 2024 in Sri Lanka.
Women’s teams of Thailand, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia and Hong Kong, China qualified for the tournament through the ACC Women’s Premier Cup tournament held in Thailand in July 2026. Thailand and Hong Kong, China have been grouped alongside India and Pakistan, while UAE and Indonesia have been grouped alongside Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The tournament will follow a single round-robin group stage format, following which, the top two (2) teams in the points table in both the groups will advance to the semifinals.
For Thailand Women, it will a busy schedule through August and September, with their tour of Papua New Guinea to begin from 10th August, followed by the ACC Asia Cup and the Asian Games 2026 in Japan.
