Afghanistan’s spin prodigy, Rashid Khan is all set to feature in his debut match for KFC Big Bash League franchise, Adelaide Stikers against Sydney Thunder on 22nd Dec, 2017.

Ahead of his debut, Rashid has spent good quality time with his Strikers team-mates and has impressed everyone already with his skills. Adelaide Strikers players spoke to Strikers TV on what they expect from the leg-spinning sensation in this season and how crucial he will be in their campaign to win the BBL Championship.

Rashid has so far played in 32 ODIs, claiming 70 wickets at 14.5 and he is definitely no mug with the bat either, making 494 runs at 22.5 with a highest of score of 60 n.o. In T20I’s, his records are equally impressive with an average of 14.4 runs per wicket for 42 wickets in 27 matches with figures of 5/3 achieved not long back against Ireland early in 2017. His most recent game saw him score 44 from 55 balls and snare 2/17 earlier this month against Ireland in Sharjah.
