Afghanistan announce Debut Test squad amidst BCCI meetings in Kabul

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) have announced the 16-member squad for their historic debut Men’s test match against India at Bengaluru in Jun 2018, amidst meeting with BCCI officials in Kabul.

BCCI delegation headed by Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary reached Kabul on the invitation of ACB officials and Atif Mashal, to discuss bilateral ties and development of the sport in the country.

Afghanistan will be led by Asghar Stanikzai and includes a quartet of spinners to choose from in the squad, which was hampered a bit by the exclusion of Dawlat Zadran due to a knee injury suffered during training session in India.
