Afghanistan to play 3-day match against Hong Kong “A”

Afghanistan national squad will be travelling to Hong Kong to play their final ICC Intercontinental Cup match against the host’s from October 20-23, 2017.

To acclimatize with the conditions in Hong Kong, Afghanistan will play a 3-day match against HK’s “A” side from October 15-17, 2017.

The match will be played at Kowloon Cricket Club ground and will be streamed live on KCC Cricket’s facebook page and YouTube channel of Cricket Hong Kong. Play will start at 9:30am local time on all the 3 days.

It will be a rare longer format game being played in Hong Kong against a Test member country and Cricket Hong Kong will announce the “A” squad shortly to take on the Afghans.

In latest developments, Former Australia captain Dean Jones will be travelling with the Afghanistan squad as their Interim Head Coach.
