Anil struggles again as SG Crimsons go down against SG Stars

Nepal’s Anil Sah could not provide much impetus to his team, SG Crimsons in their 2nd completed game against SG Stars as the latter won comfortably against them by 7 wickets in the Singapore Elite Player Series played at Indian Association ground in Singapore.

Coming in at 2-down for SG Crimsons, Anil Sah managed to score 5 runs off 13 deliveries as he got trapped in front of the wicket by Dharmichand Mulewa.

It was a great outing for Zimbabwe’s Malcolm Waller, who top-scored for the stars and picked up three wickets with the ball as the Stars bowled out Crimsons for a low 68 runs inside 13 overs and then chased the target down in the 14th over, losing three wickets en-route to victory.

Oman’s Sufyaan Mehmood too failed to put up a good performance for the Crimsons as Singapore national player, Dharmichand Mulewa (4/11) and Waller (3/6) wrecked the Crimsons batting line-up on a slow and turning track.

Although SG Crimsons managed to pick up the first two wickets within the 6th over, a 42-runs partnership for the 3rd wicket between Nevile Madziva (21 off 34) and Malcolm Waller (34 n.o off 22) sealed the deal for SG Stars.

The match was live streamed on YouTube channel of Singapore Cricket Association. Here is the link – https://youtu.be/aop1BMtMJf8
