Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Austria Cricket to develop the sport in the grassroots level in the country and also have the National team tour Pakistan to receive professional coaching and training with the franchise.
Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi Foundation and Austria Cricket Association Chairman Muhammad Ashfaaq signed the agreement in Vienna, under which Peshawar Zalmi will take the sport to the schools in Austria and promote cricket in the country.

The Austrian national squad, which recently took part in the ICC World T20 European sub-regional qualifiers in Netherlands, will tour Pakistan to leverage the state-of-the-art coaching facilities in Pakistan. Pakistan National Cricket Academy (NCA) were also involved with providing coaching sessions to Serbia and Denmark national squads, earlier this year.
The MoU was signed between Chairman PZ, Mr. Javed Afridi and Chairman, ACA, Mr. Muhammad Ashfaaq in Vienna.
