A total of 12 teams are going to participate in the QNB-ISC T20 tournament, which started on 13th November at Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Qatar.
The event is conducted by the Indian Sports Centre (ISC), which is being supported by the Indian Embassy in Qatar.
The tournament is however, only for Indian nationality players based in Qatar. In the first match of the tournament, Team Red Wing Al Khor lost to Malabar XI by 9 wickets.
Al Khor were restricted to 94/9 in their 20 overs with Vinod (23), Niblu (17) and Harilal (12) reaching double figure scores. Malabar XI, propelled by Yasir (44 n.o) and in the support of Karan (25) & Ajmal (19 n.o), reached the target in the 13th over.
