Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) have announced that the 2018 USA National Championship will be held in Florida from Mar 09th – 11th and will be played in the T10 format. All matches will be held at Central Broward Regional Park ground.
Six teams will be taking part in the tournament divided into 2 groups of 3 teams each, and the top teams after the round robin format will qualify for the knockout phase of the tournament.
Cricket Council USA chairman Mahammad Qureshi said “T10 cricket is getting recognition now and we think that we should introduce it at the USA Nationals. We are sure to see great entertainment with guys throwing their bat for 10 overs. This is sure to bring even more people to the cricket. It is fast paced and a match takes only one hour and a half, which fits right into the American psyche of what entertainment should be.”
