Rooter Sports to organize e-World Cup event during 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup

Rooter Sports will be organizing the Cricket e-World Cup event from October 16th – 13th November, 2022 and will feature eight (8) teams competing for the Championship. This will be the company’s second major Cricket-based IP tournament held this year, after the Asia Cup event and the prize money for the event has been increased to INR 10 lakhs. Rooter Sports CEO has indicated that the massive increase in Fan engagement in consumption of content via live-action sports by streaming services and fantasy gaming apps, their e-Sports event will only add up to the excitement as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is also being staged at the same time in Australia.

A total of twenty four (24) players will be competing in teams of three, with each one comprising of a pro player, a top Rooter influencer, and an upcoming Rooter creator. All the teams will compete to qualify for the top four spots to reach the Knockout stage from the Super 8 stage, with the top two (2) teams from the Knockout stage to compete in the Grand Finale on 13th November 2022.
