German Cricket Board (DCB) announced their annual awards following a highly successful DCB Super series season in 2017.
Mudassar Mohammad from club Turk Hattershiem won the 2017 Player of the year award. Tina Gough from THCC Hamburg was awarded as the 2017 Women’s player of the year.
The growth of cricket in Germany due to Afghan refugees was very much on display as young Aziz Dawodzy was chosen as the 2017 young player of the year.
