Croatia Cricket will be hosting the European Cricket Series (ECS) T10 event from October 11th – 16th, 2021 at the Hotel Resnik Cricket Ground, that will see five (5) domestic clubs compete for the title.
Belgrade, Ljubljana, Sir Oliver Split, Split India Brodosplit and Zagreb Sokol are the clubs participating in the competition, with all matches to be live streamed on European Cricket Network (ecn.cricket) website and FanCode app. Belgrade Club from Serbia and Ljubljana Club from Slovenia are International participants in this ECS event, which makes it a unique competition giving opportunities to clubs from other countries as well along with the host nation. Most of the players in the Belgrade Club team were part of Serbia national squad, that took part in the 4-nation Sofia T20I tournament held in Bulgaria in June 2021.
Croatia Cricket Federation (CCF) Associate membership was suspended in 2019 due to continuing non-compliance with ICC Membership criteria, but have the matters sorted out as the membership was reinstated back in 2021, enabling the Federation to take part in ICC sanctioned tournaments in the coming future.
Limited player statistics available for the clubs can be viewed on this link and Ljublajana Cricket Club match scores from 2019 season.
