Teams warm-up for Charlotte Edwards T20 tournament

England’s Regional Women’s T20 tournament, which has now been renamed as Charlotte Edwards Cup, starts from May 14th and will run until June 11th, 2022. Teams will play in two groups, based on finishing positions in the 2021 edition of the tournament. Teams play each team in their group twice, home and away, with the two group winners and the best second-place team advancing to Finals Day.

The 8 teams, who will also compete in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (50-overs) competition alongside the T20 tournament, namely Northern Diamonds, Central Sparks, Western Storm, Thunder, Sunrisers, South East Stars, Southern Vipers and Lightning will again be competing for the T20 bragging rights.

All the teams played against each other in warm-up fixtures leading upto the main draw of the competition. From the Associate perspective, Scotland players Sarah Bryce and Kathryn Bryce along with Sterre Kalis from Netherlands will be playing in the tournament.

16th Apr 2022: Northern Diamonds vs Central Sparks – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard)

30th Apr 2022: Central Sparks vs Western Storm – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard) ; Sunrisers vs Lightning – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard) ; South East Stars vs Southern Vipers – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard)

06th May 2022: Southern Vipers vs Western Storm – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard)

07th May 2022: Lightning vs Central Sparks – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard)

10th May 2022: Northern Diamonds vs Lightning – 1st T20 (Scorecard) and 2nd T20 (Scorecard)
