Cricket Ireland (CI) will be hosting the Women’s national squads from Australia and Pakistan in a Women’s T20I Tri-series at Bready Cricket Club from July 16th – 24th, 2022, as confirmed by North West Cricket Union on their club website. It will be massive home tournament for Ireland Women to both gain experience against fellow Full-member nation teams and prepare themselves for taking part in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup global qualifier later this year
Prior to this series, Ireland Women are also scheduled to play a 6-match bi-lateral series (3 WODIs and 3 WT20Is) against the visiting team from South Africa from June 03rd – 17th, 2022. The domestic 50-overs and T20 format Super Series is also set to begin from 01st May 2022 with three teams in the competition (Typhoons, Scorchers and Dragons).
