Cricket West Indies (CWI) have announced that Ireland men’s National squad will be visiting the Caribbean Island for an ODI and T20I series tour in Jan 2020. Both the formats will be contested in a 3-match series from Jan 04th – 19th, 2019.

Ireland have toured West Indies in 2010 and 2014 as an Associate Member, but this will be their full tour as a Full Member nation under ICC. The last time the two countries played each other was in 2019 before the Cricket World Cup, as West Indies played in a ODI Tri-series in Ireland to prepare for CWC19.

Ireland will start the tour with a tour match on Jan 04th, before the 3-match ODI series gets underway from Jan 07th in Barbados. Kensington Oval will host the first two ODI matches on 07th and 09th, followed by the final ODI match of the series on 12th at Grenada’s National Cricket Stadium.

The series will then move to the 3-match T20I series, with Grenada hosting the first game on 15th, followed by the remaining two matches on 18th & 19th at Warner Park in St.Kitts. The first two ODI matches will be day/night games.
