Cricket Ireland (CI) have announced that the Women’s Super series for the 2023 domestic season will take place from May 01st – September 17th, with competitions taking place in 50-overs and T20 formats and will be competed by the three (3) teams, namely Scorchers, Typhoons and Dragons. Ireland Women national squad are currently part of the ICC Women’s Championship (IWC) cycle for the next edition of ICC Women’s World Cup, and the Super Series will keep the players engaged in the 50-overs format in-between International series/matches in 2023.
All the three (3) teams will also have the services of two (2) overseas professionals in their squads for the competitions, and this provides an opportunity for domestic circuit players to play alongside known-names in the Women’s game.
