Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane put up yet another good display of bowling as he picked up 2/13 for the Patriots against St Lucia Stars that included the prized scalp of Australia’s David Warner.
After trapping Afghanistan’s yet another young prodigy, Qais Ahmed for an lbw decision, Sandeep has now entered the Top 5 among the wicket-takers list for 2018 CPL with a joint-4th place, having picked up 7 wickets so far from his 4 matches for SKN Patriots.
By popular demand, the passionate Nepal cricket fans want to see Sandeep get picked up by a Big Bash franchise to play in this year’s edition beginning Dec 2018, and his scalps of Chris Lynn and Warner will definitely bring upon some interest from the BBL scouts.
Sandeep is due to play in the ACC Asia Cup qualifiers with Nepal in Malaysia on 29th Aug 2018 and the next Patriots match against Barbados Tridents on 25th will be his final game for the franchise in this year’s CPL T20.
