In a major career move (professionally), Essex County Club have signed up Netherlands young paceman, Shane Snater, on a professional county contract to keep him with the club until the conclusion of 2019 season.
Netherlands pacer Shane Snater collected a five-wicket haul on his Chelmsford debut for Essex County Club against Somerset in Royal London One-Day Cup in 2018. It was also Snater’s maiden List-A five-for, while appearing for both Essex and his country, Netherlands in ODI/List-A games.
Shane, playing only his second game after a successful spell in the Essex 2nd XI, removed top four run-scorers for Somerset in their chase of 314 set by Essex, riding on a scintillating innings of 160 runs from their opener, Varun Chopra.
