Cricket Ireland have announced a 14-member Women’s national squad for the upcoming home series against the visiting Women’s team from South Africa from June 03rd – 27th, 2022 at grounds in Pembroke and Clontarf.
The series will comprise of three (3) matches each in WODI and WT20I formats, with the WODI series being part of the ICC Women’s Championship, towards qualification for the next edition of Women’s World Cup. Gaby Lewis has been named to lead the international side for the first time due to injury concern for Laura Delany.
