TTCB (Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board) will be organizing the inaugural edition of Trinidad T10 Blast Tournament at Brian Lara Cricket Academy ground in Tarouba from February 26th – 11th March, 2022. The tournament will feature six teams handpicked from geographical zones by national coaches.
The tournament will begin the 2022 domestic season, and will be followed by U19 and U15 tournaments beginning on March 02nd and 04th respectively. The tournament will also feature around 8 players from Tobago Cricket, as teams from Leatherback Giants, Blue Devils, Cocrico Cavaliers, Steelpan Strikers, Scoa King and Scarlet IBIS Scorchers compete in the double round-robin group stage format across 30+ games in the competition.
Dream11 is the official tournament sponsor and they have introduced the T10 competition across other countries in the Caribbean region that includes the likes of Vincy Premier League (VPL T10) and St. Lucia T10 in 2020/2021 season and look to continue the trend with the inaugural edition in the Island nation of Trinidad.
