UAE Blues draw 2-day match against Lancashire in Dubai

UAE Blues managed to hold out Lancashire bowlers on the final day of their 2-day match at ICC Academy as they drew the match batting into their 2nd innings and with half the side back in the pavilion, time ran out for Lancashire to press for a win.

The match did not start well for UAE Blues got all out for only 130 runs in the 1st innings, inside 46 overs. Lancashire had a productive batting effort as they got 366, but UAE Blues bowlers managed to bowl then out for their good efforts on the field.

Blues were at 168/5 in 45 overs in the 2nd innings as the match time ended and both teams pretty happy with the workouts, both batters and bowlers got during the 2-day game.

UAE’s World Cup Qualifiers campaign squad members, Chirag Suri and Adnan Mufti batted on the 2nd day’s play to get back to competitive action.
