Canada announce tour of Barbados and squad to prepare for WCL Division 2

Canada Cricket have announced a 10-day tour of Barbados from Dec 08th – 17th, to prepare for the upcoming ICC WCL Division 2 tournament in Feb 2018 in Namibia.

A 16-member squad led by Nitish Kumar will travel with head coach Ingleton Liburd looking to get his final XI organized before the ICC event, which will have 2 spots open for qualification for World Cup Qualifiers.

Canada are placed alongside Nepal, UAE, Namibia, Oman & one more team from WCL Championship will join them in Division 2.

Canada will play 4 matches against University of West Indies XI after two days of practice upon arrival in Barbados. The matches will be played on Dec 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th.
