Cricket Canada organizing Men’s High-Performance League in Ontario

Cricket Canada are organizing the National Men’s Championship tournament in the T20 format from July 10th – 16th, 2022 at Maple Leaf Cricket Club ground in King City, Ontario. A total of 10 provincial teams in Canada will be competing in the tournament. Group 1 comprises of teams from British Columbia, Quebec, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Newfoundland & Labrador, while Group 2 comprises of teams from Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Price Edward Island. The T20 tournament will be followed by the High-Performance Championship tournament in the 50-overs format from September 26th – 30th, which will see teams from Canada Select, President XI and Canada U25 compete in the first round of the competition. The second round will see selected players represent All Stars teams A and B in the matches.

The National T20 Championship continues the 2022 domestic season in Canada, with the National high-performance league also ongoing in Alberta and British Columbia, and the National Big Bash T20 tournament comprising of sixteen (16) clubs scheduled to take place from July 29th – August 01st, 2022.
