Cricket Canada have announced their 14-member men’s national squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas regional qualifiers in Antigua from November 07th – 14th, 2021.
Canada will be competing against teams from Bahamas, USA, Panama, Bermuda, Argentina and Belize for two (2) qualification spots into the global qualifiers in 2022. This will be Canada’s first International tournament after a long gap of two (2) years, after the 2019 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global qualifiers in UAE. The players have been playing domestic cricket at home in the T20 format, with some of the players also playing in the T20 tournaments in the US in the past couple of months including the Minor League Cricket tournament.
