Cricket Canada have announced their 14-member Women squad for the upcoming ICC Women T20 World Cup Americas qualifiers from October 18th – 23rd at Reforma Cricket Club ground in Mexico.
Canada Women will be competing with teams from United States of America, Brazil and Argentina in the qualifiers for one qualification spot into the global qualifiers in 2022. The previous qualifiers held in 2019 was a 3-match series between themselves and USA, from which USA advanced to the global qualifiers.
The player selection was based on the zonal and national Women championship tournament held at home in the T20 format during the months of July and August 2021.
