Chitwan Tigers sign up 3 Indian players for Nepal’s 2017 EPL

Nepal’s Everest Premier League franchise, Chitwan Tigers have announced signing up 3 players from India for the upcoming T20 competition from 18th Dec, 2017.

The first player in the Chitwan camp is Uttar Pradesh’s Praveen Gupta, a slow left-arm orthodox spinner. Praveen has experience of playing 53 First-class matches and has also played 12 T20 games picking up 11 wickets @7.87 runs per over.

The 2nd player is Shawej Khan from Delhi, who recently smashed 120 runs off only 79 deliveries in a local Cricket League in Delhi. Shawej was also in the Mumbai Indians camp for 2012 IPL.

The 3rd player brought in by Chitwan is Haryana’s Parmesh Kumar, who has had stint with IPL franchise, Kings XI Punjab in 2016.

Chitwan Tigers are hoping that team skipper, Prithu Biskota, will be available for the opening game following his arrest after a night club brawl with one of the shareholders of Deja Vu.

The signing amounts for the Indian domestic players were not disclosed by the team management.
